Hello, everyone.

As many of you may have heard, Zlatkov is currently conducting a scattered bombing campaign all throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. This means that we may have to evacuate at any given time as bombs potentially come closer to the school. As a reminder, all Gryffindors must report to the Slytherin Common Room and all Ravenclaws must report to the Hufflepuff Common Room in the event of an evacuation. Prefects will have lists of names to take roll.

Just as a precautionary, I would strongly suggest everyone prepare "evacuation kits" containing any valuable items and anything that you would need to get through the evacuation - a change of clothes, a book perhaps, et cetera. In general, the bombings have occurred at late hours, so most likely you'll need to prepare for the night. Be sure to have these prepared before the evacuation so you may simply grab your kit and go.

I apologize for bringing you all such heart-sinking news, but I thought we should all be aware. I would, however, also like to remind you all that we are effectively living in a fortress. Hogwarts is still the safest place in the Wizarding World.
